- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 cup Georgia apples (preferably Rome or Jonagold), peeled and chopped
- 1/2 cup purple onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
- dash of salt
- 1 tablespoon apple juice
Add all ingredients together in large bowl and mix well.
Form into patties, and grill over medium heat about 10 minutes per side, until meat thermometer shows an internal temperature of 165º.
Serving suggestion: serve on buns with sliced sharp cheddar cheese, lettuce and honey mustard.
