Ingredients
- ½ cup apple juice
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 ½ cups fresh cranberries (about 7.5 oz)
- ½ lemon, zest (about ½ tsp) and juice (about 1 Tbsp)
- ¼ orange, zest (about 1 tsp) and juice (about 2 Tbsp)
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 apple, peeled and cored, cut into small cubes
- 1 pear, peeled and cored, cut into small cubes
Directions

Step 1:
In a medium saucepan, boil the apple juice and sugar until the sugar dissolves.

Step 2:
Add the cranberries, lemon zest and juice, and orange zest and juice. Boil a few minutes until the cranberries burst.

Step 3:
Lower the heat and add the salt, cinnamon, apple and pear. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes more, until apples are tender. Stir occasionally.

Cool to room temperature and chill before serving.
