Blueberry Strawberry Crumble

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg,beaten
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • Topping
  • 6 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  • Step 1:

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9 x 13 inch baking pan.

  • Step 2:

    In a large bowl combine 1/4 cup of butter, sugar and vanilla, add egg.

  • Step 3:

    In another bowl combine flour, baking powder, and salt, add to butter sugar mixture and stir in milk.

  • Step 4:

    Gently fold in the berries.

  • Step 5:

    For the crumble topping combine all ingredients and pour on top of berry mixture.

  • Step 6:

    Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
