Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 lb ground pork
- 3 large cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup peeled, minced fresh ginger
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp sugar
- 5 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 3 green onions, sliced
- Fresh cilantro leaves (optional)
- Fried wonton strips
- Cooked white rice (about 3 cups)
Directions

Step 1:
Heat a large skillet with tall sides over medium heat

Step 2:
Once hot, add sesame oil and let it warm for a minute

Add pork, breaking it up with a wooden spoon or spatula. Cook for 5 – 7 minutes, stirring and breaking up occasionally, until pork is completely browned.

Add garlic, ginger, soy sauce, black pepper and sugar, stirring to combine

Step 5:
Add cabbage and carrots, folding to combine thoroughly

Step 6:
Cook, stirring occasionally, until cabbage and carrots are softened but still a bit crunchy, about 2 to 3 minutes.

Step 7:
Sprinkle rice vinegar over the top and fold one last time

Step 8:
Immediately serve hot egg roll mixture over white rice.

Step 9:
Top with green onion, fresh cilantro, and wonton strips.

Step 10:
Serve with prepared egg roll sauce to drizzle over top.
