Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter, softened and divided
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 cups sliced Georgia Peaches
- 1 1/2 cups chopped Georgia Pecans
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
Directions

Step 1:
Preheat oven to 350ยบ.

Step 2:
Melt 1/4 cup butter, then pour into an ungreased 9-inch cake pan.

Sprinkle with brown sugar, then arrange peaches and pecans over top.

In a large bowl, cream remaining butter and sugar until fluffy.

Beat in egg, then the vanilla.

Step 6:
Combine dry ingredients then add a portion to creamed mixture, followed by a portion of milk, then beat mixture. Continue adding portions until all dry mixture and milk are added.

Gently pour this completed mixture over peaches and pecans.

Bake for 30-40 minutes, until toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Cool 10 minutes then invert onto a plate.
