Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms


  • 1 pound Italian Sausage
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 24 mushroom caps


  • Step 1:

    Clean mushrooms with a damp paper towel, gently remove stems, (save for another use.)

  • Step 2:

    Using a small spoon gently remove enough of the inside of the mushroom to form a cap.

  • Step 3:

    Cook sausage in a large skillet, drain grease.

  • Step 4:

    Stir in cream cheese until well combined and melted.

  • Step 5:

    Add onions, Parmesan cheese and bread crumbs. Mixture will be thick.

  • Step 6:

    Gently stuff in mushroom caps, bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until a small amount of liquid is forming on the bottoms.
